Privacy Policy

Eventigo (Eventigo) is a platform that helps people find wedding and event venues in Egypt, see their prices, and send a booking request. We do not own or operate any of the venues.

When you send a booking request, we collect:

• Your name
• Your WhatsApp number
• The date you want for your event
• Your expected guest count
• The venue, package and add-ons you selected
• Any notes you write in the request

We do not ask you for an email address to send a booking request — we contact you on WhatsApp.

If you have an account (venue owners and staff): we store your name, email address and a hashed password.

We also collect standard server logs — IP address, browser type and time of visit — for security and to keep the site running.

We do not collect any payment data. Payment happens directly between you and the venue, not on the platform.

The most important thing to know: when you send a booking request to a venue, we pass your details to that venue. This is the service — without it the venue cannot confirm your date or contact you. We send them your name, phone number, requested date, guest count and selected package.

We also share limited data with:

• Our email provider — we send our team a notification for each new booking request, and that notification contains your details.
• Google Maps — venue pages contain an embedded Google map. When you open a venue page, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies. This happens without you clicking the map.
• Our hosting provider — the server running the site and database.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

The site uses one essential cookie, pb_auth, which is set only when a staff member or venue owner logs in. Without it, login cannot work.

We currently run no advertising cookies, trackers or analytics. If we add any, we will update this page first.

The embedded Google map may set its own cookies, which are governed by Google's privacy policy rather than ours.

We use an AI service to help our team write venue descriptions. It processes venue information only — names, features and prices. No visitor data and no booking requests are ever sent to it.

We keep booking requests for 24 months from the date of the request, so we can follow up on the booking and answer questions afterwards. After that we delete them.

Venue owner accounts remain for as long as the venue is listed on the platform.

Under the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law (No. 151 of 2018), you have the right to:

• Know what data we hold about you
• Have any incorrect data corrected
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw your consent at any time
• Object to how we use your data

For any of these, write to privacy@eventigo-eg.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Note: if you ask us to delete your data after you have sent a booking request, the venue may still hold its own copy of your details, which is then their responsibility rather than ours.

The whole site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), passwords are stored hashed rather than in plain text, and access to the admin dashboard is restricted to authorised accounts.

That said, like any service on the internet, no system is completely secure, and we will not tell you otherwise.

This service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

If we change something material — such as adding tracking tools or sharing your data with a new party — we will update this page and change the last-updated date above.
